¿Quiénes Somos?

El Instituto Politécnico Loyola (IPL), fundado en 1952, es una institución educativa polivalente y estatal, confiada plenamente a la Compañía de Jesús, que tiene su sede en la provincia de San Cristóbal, República Dominicana. En el Centro se conjuga la función evangelizadora y la promoción humana del Paradigma Pedagógico Ignaciano (PPI) con la educación técnica y profesional, en interrelación con otros servicios educativos prioritarios para el bienestar social de la nación, especialmente para la ciudad de San Cristóbal y la región circundante a la que pertenece.

En la actualidad, el Instituto Politécnico Loyola abarca el Nivel Inicial (para niños y niñas de tres años de edad), el Primario, el Bachillerato Técnico o Secundario y el Nivel Superior en el Instituto Especializado de Estudios Superiores Loyola (IEESL), a través de los cuales inculca en sus alumnos los valores necesarios para una excelente formación académica y moral. El carácter polivalente del IPL está conformado, además, por el área de Educación Continuada con cursos generales, idiomas y el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP).

Contribuir con el bienestar social generando respuestas viables y eficaces a problemas locales y nacionales mediante una oferta educativa a todos los niveles, fundamentadas en la pedagogía ignaciana y orientadas a la formación de técnicos y profesionales competentes e íntegros, comprometidos con el diálogo intercultural y el servicio a los demás.
